Explore Your Guitar with Solo Blues

When I sit down to play guitar, I love blending lead and rhythm parts, exploring the guitar as a complete instrument, and the Blues is the perfect vehicle for this exploration. Over twenty years ago, I started writing solo Blues guitar arrangements, and my first-ever DVD featured a series of these arrangements. Recently, I felt it was time to revisit them and realized there was room for improvement.

These Blues arrangements have always aimed to help students improvise using specific concepts. In this revamped edition, I dive deeper into those concepts. I also noticed that some arrangements were tricky to jump into, so I've created simplified versions of what I'm calling preparation lessons. These keep the main concept intact but are more accessible while being fun.

We're also exploring a partnership with a company called MatchMySound for these arrangements. They've developed a cool technology that listens to your playing, checks if you're rushing or dragging, and whether you're hitting the right notes. It even offers suggestions on where to focus your practice. Plus, you can slow down the track and loop different sections while listening to the real audio—a super useful tool for self-learners.
